Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Group Director of Food & Beverage to oversee the food and beverage operations for our entire hospitality group. This executive-level role demands a strategic leader with a passion for culinary excellence, exceptional management skills, and a proven track record in driving profitability within the food and beverage sector. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive food and beverage strategy, managing teams across our properties, and ensuring the delivery of world-class dining experiences.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a cohesive food and beverage strategy aligned with the company’s overall objectives. Continuously analyze market trends, customer preferences, and industry best practices to maintain a competitive edge and elevate our culinary offerings.

 

Operational Excellence: Oversee the food and beverage operations of all properties, ensuring the highest standards of quality, consistency, and efficiency. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement process improvements to optimize productivity and guest satisfaction.

 

Team Management: Lead and inspire a team of food and beverage professionals, including executive chefs, restaurant managers, sommeliers, and other staff. Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and professional development to drive exceptional results.

 

Menu Development: Collaborate with executive chefs and culinary teams to create innovative and diverse menus that cater to the preferences and dietary requirements of our guests while reflecting the local culture and trends.

 

Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality control measures to maintain exceptional food and beverage standards across all properties. Conduct regular audits and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

 

Guest Experience: Prioritize guest satisfaction and provide exceptional dining experiences by focusing on attentive service, culinary innovation, and a commitment to exceeding expectations.

 

Financial Performance: Develop and manage budgets for food and beverage operations, optimizing profitability while controlling costs. Analyze financial reports and take corrective actions as necessary to achieve revenue targets.

 

Vendor and Supplier Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with food and beverage suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality ingredients and products.

 

Sustainability and Social Responsibility: Champion environmentally sustainable practices and social responsibility initiatives within the food and beverage operations, contributing to the company’s broader sustainability goals.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

 

Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in senior management roles within the food and beverage industry, preferably in the hospitality sector.

Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, culinary trends, and guest preferences.

Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.

Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to create and execute innovative food and beverage concepts.

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
